Walking into the facility I knew it would be a challenge because I had done some CrossFit workouts in the past with friends. After the strength portion, which was deadlifts that day, the harsh reality set in that the WOD was about to be the next kick in the teeth. We had 10 members in the class and I still believe I finished 12th that day. I was exhausted but loved the challenge; however, the fact that I was the time cap gave me nightmares until I returned 2 days later to join CrossFit Northlake.

9: Do you have any special or favorite Northlake CrossFit memories/moments?

On Day 3 or 4 at CFN I walked into Grant, professing his love for thrusters. It sounded like “I HAAATTTEE THRUSSSSSSTTTTEEEERRRRSSSSSSSS!!!!!”. I had no idea what they were at the time but later found out…
